Dehumidification - Airborne Pathogens

CREATING MINIMAL RISK ENVIRONMENTS – AIR PURIFICATION

“Indoor Air Quality has been a focus for us for over 20-years. With the recent pandemic, the demand to create minimal risk environments caused us to pivot and provide air purification solutions that efficiently destroy airborne viruses safely in the presence of people.” -Michael Murphy, CEO

Freedom Air Technologies utilizes the most advanced UV-C light available today to effectively eliminate airborne pathogens. This robust solution, Shield®, provides 24-7-365 air purification, in-room, in real time, without disruption to business or social events.

Shield® is a powerful light array that begins working immediately and provides maximum airborne threat reduction, destroying 99.9% of contagions, including SARS CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, bacteria and mold spores to provide improved indoor air quality.

Shield® is a modular solution. Applications are custom engineered to properly address every building to provide a minimal risk environment.

A Green Product and safe for use is occupied spaces, Shield® emits no radiation, fluorocarbons or ozone. In addition, no dangerous or harmful chemicals are created or released into the environment during the purification process.

Freedom Air Technologies and Southern Climate Solutions share common Founders.
Shield® Patent Pending.

EFFECTIVNESS OF UV-C LIGHT FOR DISINFECTION

dehumidification - improve indoor air quality with UV Lighting

Ultraviolet light has been used for disinfection for more than a century. A thoroughly vetted technology with a proven track record, UV is endorsed by ASHRAE as an effective means for air cleaning and airborne infectious disease mitigation.

Shield utilizes the most advanced UV-C light available today for neutralizing virus, bacteria and mold spores.

ENGINEERED SOLUTIONS BASED ON SCIENCE

Designing Your Solution

Shield® is a modular solution that can stand-alone with its own strategic ductwork system, be installed with existing HVAC, or be combined with commercial dehumidification to solve moisture issues in extremely humid environments.

In every case, a team of Clean Air Architects will custom design the most effective UV-C light array configuration to provide maximum airborne threat reduction to create a minimal risk indoor environment, 24-7-365.

With a critical look at airflow, air changes per hour (ACH) and building occupancy, an application will be created to provide proper in residence time to create a 3-log reduction in any space.

APPLICATIONS

Ducted Solutions

ducted solutions

A strategic, ducted solution for large rooms and gathering spaces offering 24-7-365 maximum airborne threat reduction. Shield® offers 99.9% efficacy in destroying pathogens.

HVAC

HVAC

Engineered in a variety of shapes and sizes, Shield® can be added to most existing HVAC without disrupting the system to offer maximum air disinfection in-room, in real-time.

Commercial Dehumidification

Commercial Dehumification

For humid climates, allow our team of experts to pair Shield® with commercial grade dehumidification to eliminate excess moisture and provide superior indoor air quality while promoting energy savings.

THIRD-PARTY TESTING

Striving for excellence with a focus on safety, Freedom Air’s technology was independently tested by Interek, an ANSI accredited ISO 17025 for microbiological methods Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) laboratory.

The technology was tested against an aerosolized pathogen (SARS CoV-2 surrogate) in the standard 1,000 cubic foot testing chamber.

The technology was found to achieve 99.9% reductions for the challenge virus.

A dramatic reduction was evident in the first 5 minutes of the test, inactivating 97.2% of aerosolized pathogens present in the air, and achieved a full 3-log (99.9%) reduction within 1 hour.
