Southern Climate Solutions is a locally-owned family business that has been serving the Greater Gulf Coast for more than 20-years. INSTALLER

We desire to grow our team of installers to serve homes along the Greater Gulf Coast. Our installations include crawl space and attic locations. You will learn how to encapsulate, including the installation of both a ground and curtain barrier in a crawl space, along with proper placement and set up of a commercial dehumidifier. Attic installations include proper setup of the units, along with ductwork and venting. This position may have to assist in removing debris and insulation from a crawl space in preparation for the full encapsulation.

What You Will Do:
  • Be a team player who will do whatever it takes to get the job done efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to listen well and pay attention to detail
  • Member of a team traveling to customer’s homes to perform scheduled work in the local area and along the Greater Gulf Coast
  • Assist in debris removal that impedes the encapsulation process.
  • Desire to grind it out daily and be involved in learning the equipment installation process
 
Best Qualified Candidates Possess:
  • Crawl spaces and attics range in size and can be confining and dark. A small, nimble, fearless individual is highly desired
  • Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver’s license
  • Timeliness is a must. The job starts at 8 am sharp
 
Physical requirements:
The position lifts heavy objects and/or debris and equipment up to 100 lbs., and works in a crawl space or attic, sometimes on the belly, back, and knees for long periods of time, performing strenuous physical labor. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls, carries, and places objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.

CRAWL SPACE CLEAN OUT CREW MEMBER

This position is a ground level opportunity where you will be responsible for removing debris and insulation from a crawl space in preparation for a full encapsulation. Learning the business of crawl space encapsulation with dehumidification begins here! Opportunities for advancement exist.
